Although many tech papers are written about packaging equipment, few are published. Preparing feature stories for packaging systems requires an excellent grasp on writing application stories. The application story is the most effective feature writing style for use with packaging operations. Yet it is frequently botched by not integrating a significant industry issue, and by making the story too self-serving. Both of which can cause an editor to bump the story. It is a fact that the vast majority of feature application stories on packaging submitted to editors never get published.
