Internet versus Print Publications

Ten years ago, we had to be careful not run too many feature stories for our industrial and high-tech clients on the Internet. Online stories were not regarded with much respect compared to trade magazine physical copies. That has changed. Although print publications are still preferred by the majority of readers in industrial and high-tech markets, online readership has skyrocketed, and continues to escalate.

Whether online magazine readership will usurp that of print publications remains to be seen. But it is a fact that our clients are now much more interested in having their feature stories appear online because of the positioning, branding and lead generation benefits that these online sites now deliver because of their increased readership.
